A Herkimer Diamond is centered between fine garnets in a row, all between a yellow gold-filled chain for a simple 18″ necklace. The Herkimer Diamond is a very clean natural stone with natural facets, clear and bright, and is named for where it was mined in New York. The Herkimer Diamond is actually a clear quartz natural stone. The garnets have a beautiful red color. See the picture of the necklace with a pencil for scale. Note that the yellow gold-filled chain is nice quality for long lasting wear, and it is not gold plated which can wear off easily.
