Mid February is when we start to pick blood oranges for a few months. This year the oranges are abundant, juicy, and sweet. I gave a bag to a friend and she made some homemade marmalade jam and now I have a jar of her English relative’s recipe. The rind has pectin so there’s no need to add it.
